Structural reinforcement

This project was a challenge considering that it was necessary to solve the structural failures that the structure presented without totally demolishing or stopping the operations that take place within it. For this project, exhaustive and millimetric planning had to be carried out that would allow us to manage the activities in a very coordinated way with the client and at the same time guarantee that the technical procedures that were carried out worked correctly.

According to the designs, the foundation footings had to be extended and in the same way generate a new element that would allow to tie and temper the existing foundation beams, new columns should also be generated from the footings since the structure did not have these elements taking into account which was initially made in structural masonry.

Finally, all these elements were tied in the upper part by a crown beam that was attached to the existing beam, generating the stabilization and support of the entire structure.
